I think speed roaches are pretty reliable. Not like he's going to open blind 2 factory tank or something.

The real damage was done because his natural was left empty which cost him lots of drones and zerglings in the process. I call that "not dealing well with an attack" :/. If Polt had lifted his additional four hellions in the main and made them hellbats there, hydra would probably have died right at this point. But who knows.
