I think (and that's my own opinion, I don't mean to start an argument here) this comes from several factors: - Terran micro is generally more visual and flashy. Splits, stutter step, etc are very visually appealing. On the protoss side, except for blink micro, nothing has the same kind of visual impact. - It is easier for protoss players to control their army decently. I'm not talking about perfect/great army control, but in order to control an army in an average way, I'd say a protoss army is easier to handle than a terran one, and this is why people tend to ignore that aspect of a protoss player's gameplay. Again, I only talk about controlling an army in an average way. For great/perfect control (as Parting or MC usually show for example), I believe it is equally hard on both sides, but since we are getting used to ignoring that aspect of protoss gameplay (because by definition, we mostly see average army control), even the players with great army control don't get noticed/rewarded for it enough. | ||
