Basically it's really hard to defend vs banshees while being cost effective. It looks really bad for Maru, but cost of vikings, turrets and scans really add up. Also Hack has to stay on the defensive and Maru gets free scouting by aggression.
I agree that it was a great game by Maru though, his control is really something else!

You guys should invest in a crockpot... Throw anything in there and it turns out great. I make a lot of chilli too. Just throw onion/peppers and various cans of tomatoes/chillies/beans.... brown some ground beef and toss it in... add spices... ~15-20 mins of prep and it lasts us 3-4 meals. edit: more like ~12 meals, sorry. I've made it for ~10-12 people a few times at my house and everyone gets a good sized bowl, some seconds if others have smaller bowls.
The pulled pork with gravy/mashed potatoes was good! I already inhaled a plate. >_< Now I'll save some for lunches...

Yummy :D Sounds good and good idea as well. Bigger batch of food means more meals out of it and less time cooking in general if it lasts 2-3 days.

Pulled pork too. Unfortunately meat pretty pricey in Korea. I spend about $30-35 and get a 3 kg pork shoulder, cut it in half and make this big meal twice. Maybe makes about... 8 plates worth?

Both opened gas before expand. Maru went for hellion drop whilst PartinG Oracle opening. Maru lost lots of SCVs and PartinG not as many as had stalkers at home anyway. Stalkers then move across the map and did soo much damage. Maru couldn't recover.

Wow, I cannot believe this, Maru played soo well, but PartinG just destroyed him. This was one of the most intense and best games of this year for sure! This is why I love PartinG!

I feel like that was an underrated game as it just seemed like PartinG built two Oracles to get ahead, while Maru couldn't do anything to stop that, into a loss in the end. But what really sealed the deal was PartinG having near perfect army control and micro to deal with whatever Maru threw at him, which was extremely skilful. Well played, both of them!
This is pretty unlikely but anyone who is also watching the stream happened to catch what commercial 성동일 was in? Saw him and recognized him but didn't understand what product he was promoting..

Protoss army control is terribly underated. On the other hand everyone seems to get overhyped by mindless stutersteping of Terran bio...

Wish Maru would just go back to the standard Bio macro builds with good micro and timings. He opens up to funky these days with Mine drops and what not. I think that vs Protoss is just not the way to play the match up right now. /Turtle from their potential all ins into timings and drop harass.

I agree that great army control from a protoss player tends to often be ignored. I think (and that's my own opinion, I don't mean to start an argument here) this comes from several factors: - Terran micro is generally more visual and flashy. Splits, stutter step, etc are very visually appealing. On the protoss side, except for blink micro, nothing has the same kind of visual impact. - It is easier for protoss players to control their army decently. I'm not talking about perfect/great army control, but in order to control an army in an average way, I'd say a protoss army is easier to handle than a terran one, and this is why people tend to ignore that aspect of a protoss player's gameplay. Again, I only talk about controlling an army in an average way. For great/perfect control (as Parting or MC usually show for example), I believe it is equally hard on both sides, but since we are getting used to ignoring that aspect of protoss gameplay (because by definition, we mostly see average army control), even the players with great army control don't get noticed/rewarded for it enough.

you didn't need to see his scv count... there was no way that he was going to kill 4 stalkers and a dt with rally units... not to mention the ridiculously close reinforcement pylon.
