Looking at Game 1, Zest seemed really off with his macro. He floated a lot during the two base attack (around 900 all the time), he could've turned that into zealots to meat shield and ram his way into a victory.

Hmm? I don't recall people calling Classic "best player ever", "unbeatable toss", etc. If anything, people were saying he is not that good as you might expect of a GSL champion.
I think the thing with the Flash overhype is that people call him God etc etc etc because they are enjoying that he is a very good player again, but not because they really believe he's a God again (yet ^.^). It's more like cheering for him, not stating facts... Yeah the hype is there but not because we think he's the best in the world but because we want him to be! We're just having fun

Maybe that's how you feel lol, I already have someone on reddit trying to tell me that it's BS that Flash only has a 10% chance to win GSL, even though he's only in the round of 16 lol.

Maru had the most wins. But they only counted wins in regular matches. It's like awarding golden boot based only on goals scored during group stage.

Vancouver makes a lot of sense, especially considering it would be shorter travel for anyone coming from Korea.

Just caught the vods. Amazing dominance from Flash in that finals. Overall another excellent tournament from IEM with a favorite winning, a foreigner favorite beating some top opponents, and an insane level of competition. The casting was great and Redeye was fantastic as always.
