I was hoping to have Zest win at least one more game, but overall it was great. Let's hope this is a sign that more tournaments will come to Canada. IEM Montreal lets go!

I would estimate about 1500 were watching it live. it was packed yes.

That sounds boring to me! Flash being in the finals was the most hype it could get. His story is way better than having snute in the finals. Flash rarely goes to foreign tournaments. Snute is at every foreign tournament. The hype comparison just can't be matched.

But I think Flash vs Snute would have been more epic, only cuz Zest doesn't have much of a story behind him. The only story was the KT team kill, but that gets boring fast.

Although that is a good story, I like it when both sides have separate stories. Adds more variety. For example, one player is the underdog that climbed through hell and had to beat champion after champion. The other is Flash's story, a veteran that fell off the horse and now has something to prove again.

I especially liked how the smirk on Taeja's face disappeared after the second game LOL

Someone calculate the probability of this happening. as a first match it seems to be less than 0.1% chance, since WCS Predictor didn't track it as a likely first round match here are their most likely seedings though, keep in mind some mutual exclusivity may apply Flash has a ~ 2.81 % chance to get the #11 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 2.78 % chance to get the #12 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 2.31 % chance to get the #10 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 2.29 % chance to get the #13 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 1.82 % chance to get the #14 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 1.78 % chance to get the #16 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 1.68 % chance to get the #15 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 1.63 % chance to get the #9 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 0.57 % chance to get the #8 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 0.14 % chance to get the #7 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 0.05 % chance to get the #6 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 0.03 % chance to get the #5 seed at Blizzcon. Flash has a ~ 0.01 % chance to get the #4 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 14.07 % chance to get the #14 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 13.46 % chance to get the #13 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 13.05 % chance to get the #12 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 12.67 % chance to get the #15 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 12.57 % chance to get the #11 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 10.1 % chance to get the #10 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 8.46 % chance to get the #16 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 5.6 % chance to get the #9 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 2.25 % chance to get the #8 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 1.45 % chance to get the #7 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 0.55 % chance to get the #6 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 0.19 % chance to get the #5 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 0.09 % chance to get the #4 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 0.05 % chance to get the #3 seed at Blizzcon. Jaedong has a ~ 0.02 % chance to get the #2 seed at Blizzcon. we can do some basic naive calculations just multiplying the %s (won't be 100% accurate but should be a decent estimation) looks like Jaedong with a #6 seed could face Flash with a #11 seed would be about 0.015% or Jaedong #5 vs Flash #12 would be about 0.0053% so yea pretty unlikely for a first round match
