That was against the kind of army that terran basically could not beat pre-patch. Ultras, mass banes, 30 odd mutas, everything with full upgrades. It's kind of scary.

I dunno it's kind of tough to call this early but they might have swung the matchup a bit too far the other way. Not sure. I think it's funny that Terran got much more help vZ in the patch than vP

I think everything except the Thor change is fine. That one just irks me.

Meh I enjoy it when I'm playing because I'm bad and if I take my focus away from splitting for half a second I die to banelings. And before my thors would usually shoot some zerglings for a little bit and then die horribly.

I can understand some frustration about it I guess

It kind of feels like Thors were balanced around being retarded tbh. I mean, when they actually shoot at mutas, they just annihilate them. I don't know yet, but I strongly suspect that one will be reverted at some point, it feels really powerful.

The Thor change raises the skill ceiling for zerg, and I like that idea. Not implying that Zerg is easy to play.
WM's RNG factor got a bit reduced due to the higher radius. Gotta see how it plays out, but IMO, David Kim won't give the meta enough time to settle. Once LotV comes out, we might actually have a stable meta game. We might even get a bonjwa that time around.

It was actually 5-3 and 5-2 because Liquid had a one map advantage. Well maybe the earned that map with the Snute AK so yeah 5-4 and 5-3 :D

The Snute all-kill is slightly tainted by bad lag luck though. Still, TL did much better than I thought they would considering they're missing their 2 best players, would have won for sure if they showed up.

Yeah in straight up fights mutas don't have a chance anymore. At least the HotS muta regen helps normally but in anything prolonged the mutas are screwed

It was awful. Khaldor could barely stream it. The play was...not impressive, let's just say that.

Innovation and scarlett were playing like seconds behind it was so bad. scarlett even asked for a substitution like a minute into her game because of it but they said no.

Congratulations Team Acer! Great effort by Team Liquid. Unlike the last seasons they finally performed well in the finals. Good job by all the teams, it was probably the most diverse and interesting lineup this season.

Thanks TaKe for putting up the league. From what you say it seems very hard to fund SC2 tournaments lately, so even more credits to you. Great work by your crew, quality of your coverage and organization seems to be better this time, although there are still some iffy admin decisions and organizational problems here and there, but they become fewer and fewer.

Thanks for the additional language streamers. Coverage was almost complete, quality was constantly high and steamers didn't change week after week. Much more relaxing to update LRs like that and I guess it's better for the viewers, too.

Thanks to Yhamm and all other Liquipedia contributors! Sick workload!

Congratulations to Pughy (211 pts), Locke (201pts) and Gamlet (201pts) for being the Top 3 of the Fantasy ATC. Thanks for all participants!

Thanks to all participants in the LR threads. It's full of the usual suspects, so it's a nice atmosphere throughout the season. Newcomers still welcome of course! Also greetings to all the other websites that have ATC stuff.
