Polt was probably too weak to survive a second wave at that point, but you can't ever throw away mutas like that no matter how far ahead you are. Polt lost his third, had to float his main to take his third, was on low economy and couldn't even drop to take a comeback. Even if HyuN lost his entire army it wouldn't matter because he could build an army while Polt would be scrambling for a few Marines. HyuN can afford to make sloppy mistakes which aren't typical of him at that point.
I already said Polt was probably dead, but there is really no circumstance where you can afford to lose ALL your mutas. If you stop caring about these things it will slowly catch up to you and it almost did in this game.

Felt like Hyun was on his preparation the entire time, while Polt was just trying to survive, not playing what he could practice on ladder. Hyun is unique.

Still it looks like polt didnt prepare for this match and on other hand hyun must waching last 30 polts TVZ very very very hard and detailed and prepared for him.
