The first game he got crippled in the beginning and then smashed to the ground before he even knew what hit him. Same 2nd game with the early push and then the 3-Nydus 3rd game... same: was under pressure and needed every unit for instant damage output - there was no chance and time for a viking especially with mutas out then

Also note Hyun lost ALL of his mutas at the end from that widow mine. Hes not going to win WCS America with moves like that :/ I don't think HyuN even cared he was so ahead. He had no army besides banelings at that point so Polt wasn't technically dead at that point because Hyun didn't have anything to kill the base. Polt was probably too weak to survive a second wave at that point, but you can't ever throw away mutas like that no matter how far ahead you are.

To be fair, qxc always does seem to talk about the second opening in the natural.

Polt lost his third, had to float his main to take his third, was on low economy and couldn't even drop to take a comeback. Even if HyuN lost his entire army it wouldn't matter because he could build an army while Polt would be scrambling for a few Marines. HyuN can afford to make sloppy mistakes which aren't typical of him at that point.

Was so hyped for this Ro8 coming in but so far only Bomber/Alicia was interesting

He was hard pressed by Hyun that he didn't had resource/time to make vikings. Seemed like he throws all his resources to tanks/units to defend. There were some drops, but it didn't do much
