Right. He might be the best Terran right now and one of the best week-end tournament player ever but he's not anywhere close to being a bonjwa.
I don't think he genuinely means that Taeja is a bonjwa, but rather in he's suggesting Taeja is very very good in a lighthearted manner. xD
I wouldn't truly consider anyone a bonjwa in sc2, not even Mvp who is one of my favorite players. He was very much dominant in 2011 and certainly the most accomplished sc2 player yet, but even his strength back then is a bit exaggerated.

He is still beating those same Koreans that are playing in GSL consistently, and WCS NA is full of good Korean players. i dont think so. KR GM is almost all kespa but taeja does terrible in korean ladder. But then again ladder not equal to tournament
Likewise Innovation does terrible in tournaments. Kespa is strong mostly due to their protoss lineup and their PvProleague. Kespa terrans are actually worse than the Korean terrans oversea.

My goodness. It is difficult times for Terran and yet this guy just keeps on winning lol...the only Terran in the RO16 or so and ended up being the winner.... :D CONGRATS TAEJAAAA

Undefeated record doesn't mean as much as when Savior went 16-4 in proleague and 11-0 against terran powerhouse. Almost everything is so diluted in sc2 that nothing can rival runs in Korean BW at its prime. Teaja is a great player, undoubtedly one of the biggest terran presence in sc2. He was NEVER unbeatable by EVERYONE in the world, there were ALWAYS several DOMINANT players in GSL that he would be a challenger rather than the favorite. . IF you only look at his ESL Korean Weekly record I might agree.

And as soon as he drops out in the round of 4 in the next major tournament he will be whining about retirement again. Give me a break...

Missed the finals, glad TaeJa owned HerO even though I like them both. 17-0 is totally real.
