Does it sound like a successful cheese to you?

Stardust just defended really well. Always having Force Fields when he needed them and making good decisions when it came to splitting up units to defend against drops

That all-in has potential is all I'm saying.

An All-in only has potential when it can reach a 60-70% winrate unscouted. Like Roach bane vs T, 11-11, 8-8-8, Blink All-ins, DTs, proxy oracles, or the old 1-1-1.

No, it's bad. StarDust defended without even knowing what jjakji was doing. Going 1-1-1 like Bbyong did is much more powerful and will probably work most of the time if Protoss plays completely blind like StarDust did.

wow TLO's idea is kind of genious.

instead of 1 map pool, have 1 map pool for every match-up. This would allow for many really cool things to happen. You could balance match-ups via maps without screwing other stuff... Wonder why no one tried this yet...

Yea, the academy was proxied, it is under the "proxy tech" like when you hide DTs or robobay (platinum league experience )
An Esports fan, playing SC2 and LoL because they are fun. Huge fan of mapmaking, Cloud Kingdom = best map ever made EVER.

Well...
This would basically result in Matchup-Vetos :o
I'd always veto the maps of the matchup I dislike :-P
(At least regarding Ladder matches - for tournaments it might work :-? )

The gold base terrans i see on ladder do the seige tank + raven contain and then cloak banshees forces observers and cannons. that variation is much harder to beat imo

Let's say there are 3 maps per MU, you get one veto per MU. Seems reasonable.

So at the end we have 2 Protoss in the ro8 (less than a third), with First, HerO and Patience not making the ro16. Does anyone want to apologize for balance whine?

Bbyon's is 1-1-1. Jjakji's was a 3 rax. Bbyong's all-in is good. Jjakji's was not.

Played like three practice games vs the Bbyongjwa gold base build and won all of them with ease with different variations of colossus builds or early attacks.

Thing is, Protoss are allowed to probe scout. I'm not convinced you can survive against what PartinG did vs MarineKing (1-base void all-in, with one Oracle if needed for detection).

It will make it so there are too many maps, also people will expect it to also be added to ladder, then you will need a 7 map pool for every matchup and you will not have all the same maps in every map pool, then it will be like now, so you will need for every tournament ~15 maps and we dont really see these things.
