Patience not making it to the RO16 is hardly a surprise as far as I'm concerned. or first Didn't see him play recently so I can't tell, but I'm still surprised he lost Zanster and Bunny.
Wax has come to the conclusion that First is Terrible and worse than Patience.

instead of 1 map pool, have 1 map pool for every match-up. This would allow for many really cool things to happen. You could balance match-ups via maps without screwing other stuff... Wonder why no one tried this yet... It will make it so there are too many maps, also people will expect it to also be added to ladder, then you will need a 7 map pool for every matchup and you will not have all the same maps in every map pool, then it will be like now, so you will need for every tournament ~15 maps and we dont really see these things. They should just make 1map per non-mirror matchup, so there is 3maps around. And the mirrormatchup has to be played on the map that your race doesn't play in the nonmirror. I suggest Metalopolis forced close spawns in TvZ; Xel'Naga Caverns in TvP; and Yeonsu in ZvP. No bias here.

Cause I got no apology from people constantly bringing up the exact same argument without realizing Innovation was up 30 supply in army. In a LR of this size whine of the size of the MULE balance whine can be neglected.

Well pros already cycle through like 10-12 maps per year, right? Accounting for proleague, wcs, and anything else I don't know about.
3 maps per MU and 4 'standard' maps means 13 maps to learn for every pro, it's not that much more than they regularly learn. Just rotate slower. There won't be much need to rotate as quickly if the maps are inherently more balanced.

But you cant make the maps 100% balanced for the matchup, you then cant make a map with possibility to favor a race or it will be an inbalanced map pool, and if it is possible to make the perfect map for that matchup it might have features favoring the 3rd race, those players might complain that they cant choose that map. So it will be really hard to get it to work.
