Also DRG waited until his drone scouted to do anything, which might seem good, but he had a 400 mineral bank then. So his pool was 200 minerals late, a hatch would be 100 late, that's a lot on that level.
Edit: Especially since the scout costs minerlas too, I think a blind 15 hatch, 14 pool is better, or just go 15 pool from the start like Snute.

The problem was that pool was sooooo late, it was a 15 pool with 400+ minerals on the bank and he used a drone scout.

Yeah it was quite slow wasn't it? Surely once he got to ramp and saw supply but nothing else he could have done it instantly.

Good point - he clearly intended to scout and react. So its odd that he didn't refine his build more so that he wouldn't delay so much on the Hatch - i.e., that he'd get the scout in a little faster.
