I never understand why random forum posters are so confident in critiquing build orders that are very obviously meticulously planned according to cost/benefit analysis, but hey it happens all the time so...

I never understand why you think that pro players are gods among us mere mortals. I am critiquing them because I am pissed how something so small could change the game from loss to win and it wouldn't even fuck up his build order too much. And later I am seeing more and more these builds that just straight up die because they want to play as greedy as possible, and because they are assuming way too much instead of actually thinking.

Your baneling nest is not finished when the lair finishes for normal builds. My point exactly, because it is too costly to waste 50 more gas and play it a bit safer? What a lackluster games we have today.
You don't need a quick baneling nest vs a 3cc build and even if you would cut your econ to "play safe" you can't afford spire, +2/+2, baneling speed etc all at once anyway. It's all up to scouting, and usually when you scout 3cc you cut the early bane nest/speed and get more econ/other upgrades etc instead.

Life looks really bad in these games O_O I don't even feel like Innovation plays that INSANELY well, it's just that Life screws up quite hard...

Haven't been able to watch Life's games in a long time due to military service and now that I finally get to see some, he gets completely destroyed. Meh.

Looked way better in every other tournament lately. I think he just had a bad day when these games were played. His play just wasn't on point today...
