I never understand why are Zerg players underestimating those Terran timings. None of the Pro Zerg players upgrade Bane speed ASAP after Lair, they would rather Drone to 100 Drones and get 4 bases and then they get Spire AND THEN they get Bane speed, and until then you die like 10 times to 30 Marine Push...

Inno just caught Life completely off guard. Well done by innovation, but... wasn't too impressive imo, it's basically just that Life didn't see it coming and his Baneling Nest was pretty late.

I think he couldn't upgrade Baneling speed, because the baneling nest just finished right before Innovation attacked if I'm not mistaken.

Yah he made a really late baneling nest. He was just too greedy and Inno took advantage of it.

Its a meta thing, even the 3 CC super eco build has a couple of variations, there are some that can hit some timings sooner, and some later. Zergs adapt and learn how to hold the early pushes, terran stops doing them and starts going a bit greedier, zergs adapt by going a bit more greedy themselves, terran switch back to earlier timings, its just how the wheel rolls.

I know, that is exactly my point. Wasting 50 gas on Baneling nest while you are upgrading Lair doesn't do anything to your build.

Your baneling nest is not finished when the lair finishes for normal builds.
