I still think this map could actually be good even with the exceptionally wide ramps if only it had some actual interesting map features in the middle. Ramps, cliffs, watch tower, just anything.
The way it is right now this map is just really boring and wide-open. So there's some interesting stuff in the early game, abusing the ramp and then there's nothing else the map has going for it. No interesting points in the middle to fight over at all.

Terrans are not complaining about Protoss qualifying too many of their players. They're complaining about Terran not qualifying enough of theirs ;D

don't like the choice to go mech on this map. it's so open and so many places to defend ;x

also really hard to take a 4th, especially against an active bio player like Dream

I think it would be cool if the middle of the map was basically impassable so you had to go a long way around. Hell, maybe put up those ledges that go all the way around the map as a thin strip to walk on. Like that map in Proleague. Or just do it arkanoid-style and have the center of the map filled with rocks that explode after 15 mins. Or lava. Or a long forward thin bridge.

i wonder how the MU would play out if widow mines activated faster? the overseer speed buff, while great, made widow mines really pathetic against mutas. with the reduced blast damage i think faster mines might keep the matchup interesting. not sure exactly how it would change mine dragging/mine spread or if it would buff zerg on the ground... zerg needs mutas but i definitely see how the huge balls can be a problem for any terran who falls even slightly behind

tvz was perfectly balanced until they nerfed widowmines for god knows what reason

winrates favored terran and bio mine camping a choke point outside a 4th base was ridiculous. pre-nerf mines are not the way to fix the matchup again, that would be a terrible regression. 3/3 alone means bio mine is still fine against ling bling on the ground, but mutas are a bigger problem now as terrans have observed.

I liked hellbats before nerf, except in TvT.

You never played zvt vs hellbats did you?

A few offrace games but that's it. Now that you mention it it was op.
