Not really. He played pretty well against Squirtle, and had better control than ParalyzE for 99% of their game. If we're basing our opinions of players on one series, I guess Life should have gotten knocked out after his loss to Squirtle, because that was pretty painful.
But Life and Squirtle obviously should have gotten through and they did, so justice was done.

Free units in WC3 actually worked pretty well IMO as you had hero exp and AOE dispels. Hmm, yeah, I didn't think about it for some reason. The general game design and their implementation is vastly different there, but they worked relatively fine. Maybe aside of some specific cases, like Human players abusing invisible summons. But even that wasn't game breaking, so you are right I suppose. you cant really compare hero's one or two summons at once with uncountable waves of free units with ridiculous damage (necro's spell is a joke and it requires corpses and no one ever used it)

Squirtle 2-0s life was unexpected, so was paralyze beating skyhigh. I guess someone will be happy when they wake up to the results lol

Once a certain amount of broodlords and swarm hosts are massed then there isn't really anything protoss can do.

Really enjoyed these matches today. SkyHigh impressed me, even in his losses. Such high level play, I hope GSL survives until the final SC2 expansion runs its length. Mannn ... so good!

I've just agreed with his correction/note to my first post.
Free units in SC2 are still disgusting though. I wish they would be removed from the game completely and replaced with something other.

I hate him so much for it. I feel terrible watching Sky High fall for that. Wolf fell for Squirtle's trickery and he had fucking Observer tools. Skyhigh never had a chance of seeing that coming.
Tell me more! What was the trickery? :D

Stork vs Zest as winner's match. Color me surprised.
