Now he behind, by a lot you don't know that the P is cutting storm for upgrades since herO rushed the archive after it was clear is all in was a failure. I don't think it was an all-in, herO contained Inno and managed to expand and tech behind it, now if herO committed and attacked then it would have been a true all-in since he would need to do alot of damage to justify going for blink stalkers.
Well that is also a problem. If you invest heavily into blink and gates you should be behind if you do no damage. But as it is now, containing protoss while you tech at home is basically enough damage so that the blink isn't an all in.
So protoss is way to forgiving in early game.

You can't expect to win a straight up army war vs protoss. It just doesn't happen - once they get their tier 3, their splash damage is just too high.
You need to out-maneuvre them, harass them like crazy and edge out a lead before you fight. You can't rush head-on cause they'll always have nexus cannon advantage at home and splash damage will melt your bio. Need to pick away at the economy, tech buildings if you can, and slowly edge it out.
Trying to go MMM straight up vs templar armies just ain't going to work.
Medivacs are already so late cuz of blink pressure. And blink also makes drops very risky. Add to that HT and feedback, canons in mineral line, and it doesnt leave much room for drops and multi attacks

Acer really need to recruit a high level protoss; its pretty clear that without Trap and Dear to train with Innovation is really struggling in the matchup... He's not making the right decisions.

I am sure he plays against a lot of high level protoss players on KR ladder. He can probably find a practice partner outside his team as well (like Soulkey practiced with Flash for his finals against Innovation).

he played this well, the storm drop killed him. there is nothing more you can do vs blink that not dieing and hoping you're not too far behind in tech/eco. If you go for a 3rd cc off 3rax an ht push on 2bases kill you so you've got no other choice than getting raxes 4/5 and microing the fuck out of the game. + you can't drop too much because the P has blink.

Honestly Innovation was late to realise when the aggression was over. He could have pushed those blink stalkers out a lot earlier and taken a much earlier third base and got his medivacs etc. up earlier I think. There was only 10-12 stalkers; granted they had blink but once he had 4 bunkers full of units he probably could have just pushed out maybe with a few SCVs if he didn't feel comfortable and secured his base. He needed to scout when the Protoss was transitioning earlier.

I assure you Innovation has no problems in finding solid protoss practice partners, even if they're not on the same team.
