It's such a weird build because you kind of need hydras (unless you're Life), and Zealots chew up Hydras. Plus, when you factor in Protoss' ability to decide where the engagement happens, it really seems to be (as of right now) a build akin to the Soul Push, where if Protoss doesn't mess up his micro (in this case, with immortals being picked up and targetting), it's nigh impossible to stop.

We're not responding well to the cues for applause / general oohs and aahs, and it feels like most people in the crowd aren't really into it. There are a lot of things going on around the competition venue and that hurts the mood too imo.

I am just saying that a lot of things have to go right for the Zerg. He kind of has to guess when the timing is coming. Protoss know they got scouted and can just delay the timing. Or they just mind game you and go ahead anyways. The execution is just far easier than the defense. Which was the core issue with the 1-1-1.

Being forced to fight in a small compressed area where zealots out dps the roaches for hits while the 5 immortals aren't focused/cant be is just a twist of that race. It's like being sour about terrans bleeding extra efficiency in small unit situations, mutas or hell to use a sc1 analogy, tanks sitting in a nice position on the ridge between your main and your expo. It is very similar to the 1-1-1. An early game all-in push that is very hard (especially if the Protoss micros well) to hold even if you scout it.
