Its sad because I orignally liked the concept, in practise its really bad.

but zerg has to stalemate by design in lategame because they have weaker units, so the problem doesn't originate with SHs

Zerg can't deal with sky terran yeah, they can fight the ground army without swarm hosts though

uh no, they don't have weaker units. At the very least that is not a fact and you certainly didn't prove it.
