Jaedong was the better player, the way he schooled sOs on the map where sOs had a hidden base kind of shows it, however over the 5 games sOs definitely had JD's number.
Sadly whilst Protoss is reliant on warp-in tech, warp-prisms and pylons on the map the race will attract criticism for the way it plays.
I'm actually surprised anyone expected a Zerg to win the tournament when only two made it this far against such stacked P and T opposition. Instead of slamming sOs for beating JD in the final, give credit to both sOs for a great run and to JD for making it this far.

I voted Jaedong but to be honest, this poll is like asking "who has more fans."
i disagree. this poll is basically asking who you think is the better player in the long run.
sure, you can invent new stuff to stay ahead of the curve for a while. but it will get figured out sooner or later. sure, you can use clever strategies and mind games to get the upper hand in a boX series like sos did today, but you cant keep on doing that forever. i dare to say that winning a bo7 almost exclusively by mindgames while being outmatched in long, standard macro games, is already stretching it to the limit.
for all the inventive praise sOs is getting lately, im pretty sure he showed right now that he can play at the top, and who knows what else can sOs, for all we know he just played 5 games against zergs, maybe if we give him more games he try some other things
what you are saying its all theorical... that we say that sOs cant play standard macro games is just a stretch because sOs likes to win in the mid game, but we just dont know about that, he lost the macro game agains JD, does that says something NO, its just one game and actually that game was won because JD took a gamble that payed off (mutas)
well, we will find out what kind of stuff SOS is made of. I don't buy this championship is a indicator of things to come in the future for him. like the Cardinals winning in 2012 was more of a fluke than anything when, the phillies were better and the rangers were better. Luck is a factor and the opposition melting down mentally is a huge factor as well.
This isn't theory. It's a flat out fact that in a best of 31 the better player is usually found out. That is the most empircal of way of finding out who or what is better, sample size. Sos did not show anything new except that he had balls of steel and had nothign to lose to a legend that seemed to feel more pressure in this moment

Gumiho used to do viking harass sometimes but I guess he wouldn't really be known for it
