Im wondering how much of his skill was placed on the much higher demands of mechanics as opposed to overall game sense. Maybe players like Jaedong and Flash simply succeeded because there wasnt as much leniency in BW then today. idk
Jaedong is top3 zerg in sc2, dont compare him to the average terran
Top 3? You think he is better than soO, Soulkey, Hyvaa, Dongraegu, and Symbol? I don't think so. He is definitely below them. I might even put him below Hyun ATM.
better than hyvaa, drg and symbol easily soo and soulkey depends on the matchups
Nah. His ZvZ is worse than Hyun. DRG's ZvT is better than Jaedong's. His ZvP is at best even with Soo and Soulkey, same thing for his ZvZ. But his ZvT is much worse than either of them.

What about State's multitasking in the mid-game to put him ahead? State didn't win because of PvT.
Happy birthday though.
Let's be honest here, State played ok. But the multitasking achieved NOTHING until Flash gifted him 24 scv's. State then made huge glaring mistakes that almost lost him the game, but not quite enough to lose the advantage.
Watch the game and bash neither side, thanks.
Flash gifted him 24 scvs? You mean he made a mistake and he was not allowed to? I think that's called a forced error.

People are just afraid that a champion like Flash doesn't want to play a game if he doesn't win much, because let's be honest, Flash hasn't been playing that well lately.
As far as I'm concerned I'm afraid he isn't displaying anything special because he doesn't really want to play it.
After all, that's what seems to be the case with all those ex-BW pros who are retiring lately.
Ye that's what I meant. I just suck at expressing myself through words

Against a Templar opening there isn't really a lot you can do, especially considering its BelShir which is very straight forward. Drops can only come from one side and attacks at the third base can be deflected quiet good as well.
Maybe people who have no clue about Terran or Protoss or the match up in particular should stop bashing players. State was ahead because the general opening allowed him to be save, get his third base up regardless and Flash couldn't really do shit. Usually if you cannot put down aggression against Protoss and deal no damage whatsoever, it results in Protoss being ahead, if you wasn't greedy to begin with.
Thats why he 'struggled' yet when you saw the fight, even though State fucked up, Flash still won convincingly, when he should not have won like that.
flash didnt play good. did he?
What did he do wrong according to you?
An American got to the late game with him on even terms, he must've done something wrong
Haha... I could see Scarlett beating Flash though.
Wondering how many people still see Flash as a hots dominant player

Give some credit to State, mate.
Yeah... Flash did not GAVE scv... And you are talking to hardcore flash fan
