It might be safer but it's not necessarily better, as you'd lose a lot of your mining advantage from not having the 2 base saturation, so you'd be able to produce fewer units. Widow mines and Tanks really help hold this, but Supernova had no gas because he went CC first into double rax (then added a third barracks before gas), so he was just at a build order disadvantage form his choices. He scouted what Alicia was doing (which prompted the third rax) but Alicia got a good scout, saw no gas, and knew his build would work so he went with it anyway despite being scouted.
Yeah, Crank said it very well. Axiom-Acer has really great depth. Even with a super ace in Innovation, the rest of the bench certainly has capable to taking down any team.

I dont think Acer would be able to get enough people in Korea to compete

Alicia killed enough SCVs that the 2 vs. 1 base saturation didn't affect anything D:

Well, even with the CC at the natural, did Supernova ever have more than 16 on mins 6 on gas? He lost a lot of SCVs, and he had a lot of SCVs on permanent repair, at least, with everything in the main there's a chance to hold out till medivacs, then retake the natural. Protoss should be on 1 base the entire time, and when he does expand he has to release the pressure somewhat, allowing Supernova to retake the nat. Because IMO, as long as you don't lose to much to the initial rounds of blink stalkers, medivacs + bio >>>>> blink stalkers assuming that terran doesn't take too much of an econ disadvantage.
To me, it just seems like the natural is extra vulnerability and not much economic benefit...

Well, the fact that they have so few players is a concern though, since this will make their lineups especially predictable in PL format (6 players fielded as opposed to 4). Combined with all the WCS stuff and travelling, it could be tougher, so it's good that they are gaining this big lead in Ro1 just in case.
Looking at their current roster: Innovation MMA Ryung Heart Alicia Crank (neck injury) Scarlett (wrist injury)
In addition, you'll have players like MMA, Heart, and possibly Crank and Scarlett travelling for WCS, which will really strain the roster.
AXA doing the work I expected them to. Pretty great day to have Crank and Alicia on your FGSTL, as well as AXA as your team. ;p I was getting worried at the start because I decided to do an AXA-based FGSTL without Innovation, but seems to be going alright so far.

Mine is doing horribly. Most Ax-Acer players are on the higher cost tier. Couldn't get Innovation and settled with Azubu for my team.
