I don't know why though, this group should be interesting. Yeah none of the four will win WCS, but apart from Welmu crushing BlinG the games have potential to be close and even.

Bling is playing too aggressive vs Welmu Imo, he should be trying to play defensively when you try to play aggressive vs aggressive it's more about which build/s you pick.

He would die to the follow up push. He was dead either way, he was just hoping the opponent to fuck up his micro or overwhelm him with his 8 gate production. His timing was crap though, his attack should be like 2 mins earlier.

This game is a good example of why terrans love scv pulls so much nowadays. gate FE robo forge is a ton safer then it used to be thanks to the mocore and if Protoss can get 3 base and max with 3/3 faster then what most terrans do then their army tends to just roll the 2/2 terran army.
Not complaining about balance! Just explaining why I like to do the worker charge.

Thanks for your answer. I guess he lost more to the oracles than I had realized, I thought he would still be in decent economic shape with the two CC vs the delayed expand.

You'd have to lose no more then 5-7 scvs but it gets a bit worse for thorzain, he lost a bunch of mining time running scvs around and made 3 turrets. There is certainly an amount of scvs you can lose to harass when you go CC first, which is part of the fun of going cc first, but that's too much I should think.

I only caught thorzains second game, but it was an awesome little timing. He found a part of the normal cc first into reactor hellions where he could slip in a second rax and throw some stuff together. Considering how late the hellions came out too it's possible slivko thought he was being super greedy since if it's not reactor hellions at the normal time wtf is it?

Hell no. Mvp was down to 5 SCVs, with Tefel on 3 bases and 45 drones, double the army supply and with the possibility of denying mining at Mvp's natural. All he needed to do was drone back up to 66, tech into a more cost efficient army, hell even take a 4th, get to Hive and then kill Mvp. Instead he just decided to a-move roach hydra against well positioned siege tanks.
That's code Z level decision making.
