Salty Swede. He had the build order advantage game 2 and still flopped. Had the win if he scouted game 1 as well. Just outclassed - and it was probably really cold in his booth.
Dont know how you can argue with that ^^ Duckdeok is doing the greediest and most coin flipy builds I've ever seen, hardly any skill in doing that hard gamble. Like there is a big difference between a player like First or someone that doesnt really gamble and plays really nice and safe pvps and Duckdeok that gambles every game and hopes for BO wins. Wish I could regame duckdeok, my 3gate pressure would slaughter his ultra greedy builds so hard :/
If you "gamble" and keep winning without anyone doing something about it, it may be that your opponents are stupid and you're smart enough not to waste time
well, without doing something. duckdeok's builds are so hit or miss that its really really hard to counter it. his builds are actually pure gamble.
If someone offered me a gamble where I won 80% of the time I would take that too. No matter how much you argue the fact is that duckdeok CONSISTENTLY wins against Naniwa so it isn't really a gamble.
In all the four losses nani got against duckdeok, duckdeok has had an almost unloseable bo win from the 4-5min in the game. Maybe you're not a toss player, but that is how messed up the MU can be and I can understand nani's frustration on how duckdeok managed to roll the right dice in their games ^^ It is really hard to play against duckdeok in pvp because of his super greedy builds. If you just play standard you'll always end up behind and then if you try one game with some early all in and he plays standard, you're fucked. That is why duckdeoks pvps are always so ugly, the game is always decided in the first 5-6 mins, and thats not only vs naniwa. His games vs MC and Grubby where fucking horrible aswell.

well, they have a similar haircut, both wear glasses and their noses are quite prominent. so yeah, they do look similar. innovation wins the nose battle, though.

how many games have they played? 6? I got 6 seven times in a row once when rolling a dice. Guess im just that good.
If you only ever rolled a dice 7 times then you are either good or very lucky. This is not a cherry picked win streak among hundreds of games, this is the total of all their games. Yes some luck may be involved, but if you look at the games duckdeok seems to outclass naniwa in game no matter how their builds match up. In the series today it is quite a stretch to call them bo wins for duckdeok.

I understood "piedra" (rock) and "papel" (paper), so I guess it's about Naniwa's tweet. Can someone translate for us ? (Vortix's tweet)
Well look, are not good those guys that won you in paper scissor rock 5-1 pretty easy? .... kinda goes like that

The thing is, he wasn't really caught out of position. He unsieged both tanks there(presumably to stop blocking his own ramp, so units could get down) and threw down 2x SMs on 2 diff tanks. It was just a terrible decision, if he had unsieged 1 tank and moved down and then unsieged the other I dont think he'd have died atleast most certainly he'd have not taken so much dmg. Add ontop of that either SMx2 the front tank, use 1-2x PDDs or 3-4x ATs, was questionable decisionmaking there...
Innovation spawns in the bottom right. Taeja spawns in the bottom left.
1:00 Both players getting barracks. Innovation getting a very fast refinery.
2:00 Taeja's is at a normal timing. Innovation getting a reaper before a marine. Taeja getting just marines.
3:00 Innovation getting a second reaper. Both players banking money for an expansion, it seems.
4:00 Innovation tries to move in with his first reaper but Taeja has well placed marines. Both players expanding, Taeja on the high ground. Innovation moves into the natural but Taeja fends it off.
5:00 Taeja fending off the reapers perfectly but Innovation sees everything. Innovation getting double hellion as well as a starport. Taeja getting a starport.

Salty swede is salty! Naniwa just isn't on the same level as duck duck and was totally outclassed in both series they played.
