Corruptors would have been better than mutas actually :o same thoughts in my mind .. he would have survived better .. i think he was ahead in upgrades

Well, normally the Zerg seems pretty bad in the later stages of the game, the Roach/Bane aggression seems like the way to go lately :-P On August 18 2013 19:15 Raambo11 wrote: Wonder how many of those are from Innovation. Also I really don't understand the muta switch in the end. When the medivac count was too high for him to handle, it was already too late. Also he k ept rallying single Zerglings and roaches into INnoVations army at his own 3rd and threw away the chances he had. SoulKey should take a more defensive approach with potential smaller runbys. Great game up until a certain point. Brilliant control by INnoVation in nearly every fight. Also people complaining that ZERG LOST THAT GAME DUE TO THE MATCH UP. You realize SoulKey was more or less allin already with his roach/bane bust vs 3 ccs in the beginning? But keep blaming Terran. Blame bad commentators, in these threads people by a large degree base opinions on casters, which is a reasonable thing to do, but during that game they both showed fundamental lack of understanding of what was going on in the game, basically thinking Soulkey was in a game winning position when he wasn't even close to that.

SK vs Bogus seems like player with godly mechanics beating player with no-so-godly mechanics, yet some brilliant ideas. Innovations mechanics is bar none better than any other terran in the world. Against Soulkey's style, if you get hit by one big baneling hit, you are out of the game. Innovation consistently splits and snipes banelings every single time, without fail. No other terran does it nearly as well as he does. Its just hard to appreciate tvz mechanics because splits look so similar nowadays.

Any highly skilled terran seems to be able to beat the best zergs in the world pretty easily and I havent seen a zerg win a proper macrogame vs a top-terran in a while now. And i play terran 0_o

I've even seen a little potential in that odd roach/bane/corrputor comp that Yugioh uses tbh.
