The finnish holy trinity, elfi the father, welmu the son, naama the holy spirit. Together they create the stupidest most wtf builds that confuse many a man and anger many an idra.

What about Fuzer?
the prodigal son
No, he's their prophet. His two-rax will spread the word of Finland's crazy play through every corner of the earth.

Overconfident Terran player decides to not scout effectively enough and put down a third command centre vs two all-ins and loses because of it.
You can't explain that.
yeah, noone should complain about 2base colossus pushes being OP. I truly think coloss openings are very okay to deal with as terran, even if they're pushes. a bit disappointing :o Hasu showed the builds I have problems with too yesterday, but Lucifron shouldn't lose against that
Yeah. I play Protoss and I'm starting to think that Photon Overcharge is too strong (especially after watching Oz vs Ryung yesterday) and that Terrans do need to compensate by being greedier in the early/midgame. That doesn't mean you can blindly do it though and you need to know just what you're up against if you're going to throw down that 3rd CC.
I'm not too sure why everyone is focusing on HasuObs's build when Oz did what he did to Ryung yesterday. Balancewise it had much more breaking potential than what Hasu did.
What happened?
Oz took a third and teched at the same time off of one gate, and he held a 2base 3rax pressure (pre-medivac) build from Ryung. Now, Ryung played badly, which is why no one cared I guess, but Oz was really confident that he would win, which means he expected his build to work even if Ryung played well.
Aha. I've been thinking that all the old Squirtle/Parting openings in PvT should still be applicable, the 17-Nex from one gate and the one-gate three Nexi.
Yeah, there's a 16/17 gate into Nexus build that HerO did against Sound on Whirlwind at MLG. He even got arguably a poor build matchup as Sound went hellion/marine pressure against delayed tech from HerO but he still smacked it down. So that build is definitely viable.
The 1 gate 3 nexus build I've never seen in HotS
Still, in theory with lack of Terran aggression in the early game you should be able to exchange the crazy early teching that P does to a third Nexus instead. But it's all theory right now.
I guess so but the crazy teching is in response to an earlier terran third and to not be contained for too long. I feel like terran could just do a standard medivac pushout, take a third behind it and protoss would have to make so many units (skipping tech) that with constant reinforcements and multipronged attacks, terran could just trade protoss down and eventually break through. And if they catch you out of position once you'd lose a nexus for sure, leaving you with low tech and equal economy
duckdeok versus Welmu PvP Game 1. Winners Match. Map is Whirlwind.
0:00-4:00
duckdeok spawns in the bottom left Welmu spawns in the bottom right
13 gateway for both players. 14 gas for Welmu. second 15 gas for Welmu. 15 gas for duckdeok. Second gas on 16 for Duckdeok.
Welmu puts 2 workers in each of his gasses. Duckdeok puts 3 workers in each of his. Similarly timed cyber cores for both players. Welmu builds a zealot, duckdeok does not.

Yeah, but the Squirtle/Parting build is three Nexus into a timing attack with eight gates, to hit just before Medivacs. So maybe that'd work to smash the Terran before they get that whole thing rolling so you can tech behind it.
