I think the trade off for "supply cost defense" is the fact that terran can attack a large number of points with very cost effective units in the late game.
Triple prong drops of stim marauders/marines is more potent than any other late game harasss afaik :\
So the idea is to leave some stuff at home for the trade off of not just doom dropping the main and wrecking everything.
The speed which a nexus can go down from a drop is pretty savage

??? You can't drop in lategame TvP, because Protoss would just kill your army lacking the supply gone in drops. See Flash vs Puzzle on this very map, for instance.

Ah I thought you mean something to build a defence after maxing out. Well, a PF with a supply depot wall can buy a lot of time. I think terran does not have something like cannons because bio is so mobile.

the qualifier gives a free trip. Carmac tweeted that they can still come there and play (Kangho as well I think) but they would have to pay for their own trip

i would expect that mvp and losira will go, flying to shanghai isn't that expensive if you're departing from korea. a trip to EU probably costs x3 or x4 as much including a hotel to stay in and all that.

Not in the game like that last one when protoss is sitting in front of your base and can be on top of your production in 5s
