Come on, all players have off days. You don't suddenly stop being a top player because you haven't played well over the last 2-3 weeks.
Well, an off-day is an off-day. A month of underwhelming play is a slump, and to me when someone's slumping it means that they're not currently a top-level player. Life hasn't really impressed me much since he beat Flash at MLG a while ago. He got eliminated in the Ro16 of Code S, dropped 2 Bo3s to foreigners at DH Summer, and also got pretty convincingly beaten by Ryung recently in the GSTL. He hasn't been terrible, but he certainly hasn't been performing up to his reputation.
yeah. Life's gameplay has been pretty bad lately. I think last season his games were still good. But his ZvT style is really questionable right now and his ZvZ has never been overly strong. I guess his ZvP is still solid, but not topnotch either...
It's because Life's aggressive style gets perfectly countered by the terran's new tools.
I dont think that's the coreproblem. I rather think that his main problem is that he doesn't have good enough training partners and therefore underestimates his opponents. And he is aweful at cleaning up minefields. Like, each of his games there is some random minefield in which he runs units knowingly or unknowingly, instead of just investing into 2-3overseers all over the map.
If his training partners right now hold him back, how the hell did he beat everyone in 2012 and how the hell did he win MLG?
because in 2012 and early 2013 Startale was one of the best SC2 teams. These days it's not anymore. In the face of Kespa Teams it's probably not even mediocre at this point in time.
Startale is still pretty good I think you're being a bit hard on them

As long as the balance whine is to favor a player with huge fan base in TL, it doesn't count. TL is a business, not public service trying to protect justice.
If I wasn't so lazy I would give you a link to a OSL thread when Shine beat Bisu.
there was no injustice there.
but 3 hatch hydra is the shittest build in all of BW.

because ST's Protoss lineup left the team and Bomber is kinda slumping, I'd say.
I mean, when he was on ZeNEX.
He barely did anything on ZeNEX except being good in teamleagues. It was once he joined startale he started to play really well

He is. They just fill Woongjin's shoes in GSTL. Choke after a lead.
The whole KeSPA vs. eSF argument and why Life is doing badly is stupid.
Fucking Symbol is the most consistent player in Korean tournaments the past year and he's on a team run by money launderers. Before that, he was on a team with a coach that spied on his players and "hacked" their Skype accounts.
