I think after smacking down those drops Keen should just roll him with better production AND better tech.

Have to agree with this, rushing to swarm hosts to use as a defensive unit from the start doesn't really make much sense. It would be different if he already had a 3 base economy, but a zerg that is playing defensive on 2 bases is not one that is going to win very often.

I'm not defending the Broodlord choice, I agree Vipers and more SH's/ground support would've been stronger. Still the 5 SH into fast 4th + hive wasn't terrible and put him in a decent position.

Pride is a pretty big incentive though. I mean how well you do can determine whether you get played in proleague/GSTL and can help you pad your resume if you for some reason change teams.

Fair enough, but I'd say that was Yonghwa messing up which made it closer than it had to be imo - if he got a 2nd robo instead of the useless DT shrine (poor decision given that 1# swarmhost rush means theres lair tech already and 2# every swarmhost player gets overseers to kill observers) and 4 wasted DT's, he could have definitely pushed and ended it earlier.
