I mean maybe this works at the like high masters low GM level before pro. But I have yet to see a successful tank build vs protoss and I have watched a LOT of fucking SC2. The problem is that colossi are pretty effective, chargelots can chew through them and if you try to block with your army you just lose that instead, and if you really commit then they'll just make a few immortals and then you're really fucked. I just don't see it ever working unless its like a surprisey timing attack kind of thing.

I'm just gonna say this, don't stone me.
The reason why people started to abandon the 2 base colossus all in, aka. the Squirtle timing, was because terrans started mixing in a couple tanks to be safe against it.

Mass Medivacs is the way to go then. Can't be targetted by chargelots OR colossi, problem solved!

Well... I've seen lots of successful mech play vs protoss over in the EU league, but I'm not talking about Mech play in anycase. I'm talking about a few defensive tanks, especially when he's being pressed to his Nat/3rd so often. Tanks can obviously heavily punish the comp that we saw Hero use. YES we can all start talking about X counters Y counters Z, but Hero's Colossi/Stalker/Sentinel comp is not strong vs tanks, not without diving, and a good bio-ball would tear them up in that case.

Mass bombervacs would be sick actually. Hard as shit to pull off micro-wise and it'd never fly in the early game, but with unlimited resources and infinite APM it'd be killer
I should build a BomberBot to play for me. Bomber's macro, slightly higher APM and no choking. I'd win GSLs with that strat
