I was just thinking, since only 1 person per up and down group is eliminated from challenger division in WCS America, are they going to have like a wildcard qualifier or something to replace Idra? or is there going to be an up and down group where no one is eliminated? Has anyone heard anything about this?

Maybe they'll adopt what WCS:Korea is doing and have a tournament with all of the first round eliminated players and code B AM. I mean that would make the most sense right?

Yes, WCS:AM and EU format is that all players that are in the challenger league (except those that go directly to premier) partake in U&D. And yea that might be interesting, do something similar to the U&D group last (maybe 2) GSL made up of all 3rd place participants (as in their system top 2 advance). Maybe do all of the last people compete in a group where just the top guy (or more because players could in theory change regions) stay

Yeah he was up about 10-15 in supply and had a really nice templar collosi mix. He then move commands everything through a choke and it gets emp/blasted for a few seconds before responding. I think the caster was also correct that he killed his own stalker when he finally did start attacking.
Hard way to go down after playing so well.

well earned victory, DB was controlling the whole game: drops, harassement, killing things there and there. State was defensive and trying to max and maybe 1-a then, but missclicked instead. Would have won If he hadn't lost his army there I think. I don't like that so many PvT it occurs that a terran can't kill the protoss early on, even with early timings (well that could be good, as medivac timing before colossus was silly play and ez win for T), but also in Midgame a good Toss can always restabilize and come back, even if the terran does so many things "for" the game. Or does it just feel this way to me, cause I want terrans to have a better lategame army so bad or don't melt away so fast to the storm, colossi, archon army?

Don't forget the awesome defence. Continously sharp and on point, through all the harrasment attempts he hardly loses any workers. Yes its defensive play, but god he does a great job at it.

Well, there isn't even a general trend. Violet wasn't really good until he left MVP and came to US. Hero was a B-teamer on oGs before Liquid. It varies by the individual player and by the individual teams and the conditions that the players are placed in.
