This most likely. Easy for observer to see how ahead one player is in certain parts. Hard to actually know it in game.

Ah ok yeah that makes sense. Easy to forget when you're watching that there isn't perfect information for both players!

Anyway, go JD! That was an old school rivalry match for sure, got me excited.

Jaedong just so damn good at straight up zvz. great mechanics.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

Eff0rt was constantly attacking Jaedong's bases, so he was probably distracted by that. I also don't think that he scouted Eff0rts late Spire.

Well, you can't micro against that, so that's not really the same. So many memories of Jaedong's sick scourge sniping back in BW, can't replace that with a building. I guess we sort of exchanged that for ling bling wars in SC2 but some diversity in air battles would be cool (other than oh shit I need to split against fungal).

The problem is that the only counter to mutas is more mutas. It's unforgiving in the sense that if you lose a few the disadvantage snowballs, but in terms of control it's not terribly interesting. If there was a good counter that required skill to use (i.e. not super buff spore crawlers as proposed by Blizzard) it would make things a lot more interesting. I guess maybe we don't need super high APM battles in every stage of ZvZ but as it is right now you either go for mutas or gamble and try to get infestors and probably lose, but even if you have infestors they're too slow to do anything except defend.

Edit: Jaedong should smoke his zergbong and take this guy out.
