I think at the end of Round 3 they needed to win 2/3 of the games in the last rounds to qualify for playoffs, at minimum. But they didn't even manage a winning record in R4 I believe so at this point they're basically screwed unless they turn on beast mode and win all their matches for the rest of the season, but even if they make up their match score deficit they'll be screwed in ties because of their terrible map score deficit. But at least they can play for honor or something. Dunno, I feel like at the beginning of R4 things were looking up and then they all decided to play in WCS AM which happens to always be the night before their proleague matches.

haha the foreigners are still there. Not just in Korea playing in ProLeague. only a couple are over there. HuK Snute and Thorzain are the only ones there now i think. Stephano went for a while

I think at the beginning of Round 4 things were looking like they had turned around completely, but the problem is that EGTL players still seem to put individual leagues before PL, and they also all chose to play in WCS AM so they're up most nights before proleague nights. I guess in the end most of them got into WCS whereas none were in WCS KR besides Taeja, so for their individual careers that's a good thing but for PL it pretty much scuppered their recovery.

TY thread. CJ fighting. Suddenly I don't hate hero's stupid grin when he wins because they aren't #1 in the league lol.

According to TotalBiscuit the players got to choose, and the Axiom players all chose NA despite TB preferring that they stayed in KR. I imagine EGTL was similar, though TB did say that in terms of sponsorship it makes more sense for them to play in AM because that's where their sponsors are. So it's a tricky situation but I guess what happened happened. Since the latter stages of WCS are offline we might see a more permanent Korean presence in NA, which would be pretty good for NA players in the long run IMO.

Hey guys, as an alternative to Live Reports which I know are hard to do, would it be easier for someone to write up game recaps for the OP?

They scrapped together a few wins at the beginning of R4, but they never looked particularly dominant. I think the rest of the league just started to take them more seriously, and the initial excitement died down somewhat. It'll still get better, just not instantly. Foreigners are quite tricky to deal with and there are a lot of self-inflicted problems that need to be repaired.

God, that sucks so much for revival. Sometimes mirrors just end to quickly.
