I've seen them be quite effective in foreign tournaments lately, and are coming into fashion in some of the GSL/GSTL but I don't know, the Kespa P's seem a bit more ruthless in punishing the switch or something? Mass SH vs toss in the late game is rapidly becoming standard in both GSL and GSTL, so I doubt it will take very long before PL zergs firgure out how to use them correctly(i.e. mass them late game behind a wall of casters and static defense).

I really hope that style isn't refined and replicated too well, or I'll maybe kill myself playing Zergs on the ladder all day.

Do you actually think that, an unit that serves the only purpose of "mass them late game behind a wall of casters and static defense", is a good unit? So far thats the only think it could do. So far thats the only think it could do. try VLC, 360p & glorious 4:3 It's just a safer transition, especially for a unit that really needs a decent amount of them out on the field in order to accomplish anything. Transitions can be refined though, to the extent they are perfectly safe to do when a few months before they'd be regarded as suicidal. BL/Infestor took ages to became a lategame staple, balance patches notwithstanding it was experimentation that enabled that to become standard.

Protoss casters aren't stupidly powerful man, they are sensibly powerful ![]() I quit playing WoL for the last I don't know, 5/6 months because of PvZ being a nightmare to play. I became so angry I would frequently shave obscene messages on my dog and send photos of it to my practice partners.
