My biggest fear so far is a one-hour game on Daybreak which Grubby wins into 3 hour long game on Akilon Wastes....

I am barely seeing any tempests/voidrays and have not seen a single Carrier in HOTS. Well guess Grubby doesn't know how to play it or something. Revelation would've been so kick ass in the lategame there, where he could be sniping the infestors and vipers without stephano being able to do much. There were many things in that game Grubby did well, but he didn't seem to know what to do in the lategame. Yeah, honestly it doesn't seem like foreign protoss players (I haven't seen any KeSPA/GSL lategame PvZs yet) aren't trying to be patient like their zerg opponents. Tempest/Carrier/ht seems like it'd be really terrifying lategame cause you can just use hallucinations/oracles/etc to get vision and pick off units and force the zerg to engage into storm/carriers. Otherwise the Zerg sends free units into carriers and storms and it's an even trade. It is actually a bit of a surprise, because I'm pretty sure it was Grubby vs Stephano on like release day of HotS where they went into lategame like that(on same map, reverse positions) and Grubby was using revelation, tempest and air with offensive cannons to fall back to aswell as ofc hts+archons and mass VR I believe. No idea wtf was going on there, but his lategame seems to have gotten worse...
I think it's just really hard to hit a critical mass with that army, but if there was a game to try it in, it was that one.

I wish tournaments actually employed someone to watch their own stream and alert them to any problems quickly...

Sure if every game was like that it would be boring perhaps but it was such a war of attrition, starvation, positioning, control, economy and resource management. Loved it tbh. Nope I also really enjoyed the game and thought it was great. Just because the game isn't played exactly how you "think" it should be played doesn't mean it isn't great for spectators. The viewership jumped from 30k - 55k during that game. I'd say it was a huge success. Viewership jumped because of the names playing that terrible game.
+1 to this. I love both players and I have the stream on but I'm not even watching, just remotely listening, those 20 mins of swarm siege are just boring to spectate imo (I understand some people might like it but it doesn't work for me, i prefer faster game or timing pushes, or at least some variety in the game, this just makes me feel the first one not to fall asleep is gonna win). Wasn't even bothered when the stream was lagging + went silent because I was interested in the result but definitely not in the action. On top of that so far it seems it most of the time ends up with zerg winning (not talking balance here, just that toss hasn't found a way to answer to this zerg setup yet and i hope they do soon (and before minute 40) so this get funnier to watch once again)

they have 5 minutes delay. They should know that there's no sound by now. At least I hope so

I think this is an all-time low for the WCS... after disappointing stomp in Grubby vs Krass game we get horrible 55 min turtlefest followed up by streaming glitches. Yuck.
|
What a waste of Grubby vs Stephano game.

New to stream, but no audio ... Others report the same problem but does anyone have a solution or explanation?
|
anyone else has no sound anymore ?

They have a schedule and WCS AM is starting on 1h 12m. You know the rules by blizzard and stephano and grubby may be for another turtlefest

They know about the problem. There is a 5 minute delay which makes it very hard for them to know when they have actually fixed the problem, "Did that do it?" *wait 5 minutes* "Nope" *sigh*

WHY THEY have no production crew follow tl/reddit etc for problems etc ,,, you NEED that when you want to be the best thats NOT acceptable

big mistake not going for the hatchery ...

I don't think swarm hosts are a problem PvZ. Even Daybreak, which is arguably a "Split Map" map is tougher to swarm host turtle on.
10+ 3-3-3 zealots shift queued around the edge of the map can destroy almost any amount of spine crawlers.

This has been getting worse and worse.. we need some competition for this medium in my opinion. If I were an SC2 tournament I would dump Twitch as fast as possible. It's not twitch's fault when the other streams are/were fine.

French people saying "lol" is the most funny shit ever, almost as funny as listening to Norwegian rap.

Why did Grubby go up to the natural, instead of just forcefielding the 3rd and taking it out and recalling, if he was going to go back in the end?
