How come we haven't been seeing the "unbeatable" air army a lot of people talked about when HOTS came out, especially in long games? I am barely seeing any tempests/voidrays and have not seen a single Carrier in HOTS.

Terrible game on a terrible map, Shakuras 2.0. Locust live for way to long, if they shortend their lifespan SH would'nt be send them across half the map creating these shitty games

Just Cloak everything with your Mothership so the Zerg has to bring detection which you can kill with Tempests from way back. Locusts can't chip away at something they can't see.

dude he DIDNT!!!! he used it on the locust/whatever below always 1 second BEFORE the mothership dies ... so next time think and it wont be driving your nuts better make a 99% useless timewarp then let it die with 200 energy

He has atleast used it 3 times against only air units. Even using it rather than recall, so I don't know about that fight, but atleast he doesn't know it only works on ground.

12 tempests, 2 oracles for revelation, hts/collosus and a mothership could probably out siege this. I think.


nice idea, not working corrupters make to much dmg vs tempest and tempest not enough vs corrupter, so you viper them into your army and kill them
they rly expensive and you need the voids to block, its just ... no possible

Nope I also really enjoyed the game and thought it was great. Just because the game isn't played exactly how you "think" it should be played doesn't mean it isn't great for spectators.

The viewership jumped from 30k - 55k during that game. I'd say it was a huge success.

what about building 30 tempest + HTs and cannons... Grubby just played it completely wrong.(75 probes wtf, running 100+ zealots into their death without doing any damage (killing a hatch doesnt matter at all at this point in the game))

I don't think that would be able to deal with all the corruptors. Storm isn't enough.

Problem is not the units used as much as it is tactics chosen. Stephano spent his time camping out while making poor use of his swarm host and grubby tried a similar push 5 times and failed 5 times.

But is it the map or the unit. Split maps with no bases to fight over are terrible and shouldn't be made any more.


I think now would be a good time to look into more 3 player maps as there's always an awesome fight over the last base as there's usually an odd number of bases.
