MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket.

If I get my army caught and lose it completely, what's to stop me from saying I had some sort of technical issue and ask for a rewind? Another major drawback with online tournaments unfortunately. If it was an "offline" tournament then I can see a case to allow this. As it is I think Nony should get the win, it sets a bad precedence otherwise.

Really sucks for Mario, I would have loved to see him win to be honest. Not my favourite Mech TvP games ever, but seeing Mech is definitely refreshing nonetheless.

Yeah, fair enough I guess. I've never seen a keyboard that stops working and then works again when you unplug it/plug it back in either though. I guess it could be a USB port issue.

Just cutting away is weird... can you imagine in a football game when something crazy happens they just cut straight to adverts and carry on when its over as if nothing happened! YES. I want to know what they are talking about too. This is potentially more interesting than the match wtf.

There also wouldn't be any commands if he simply kicked his feet up. It's too bad, but this absolutely has to be a win for NonY.

It's pretty easy to check in the replay that he stopped giving commands completely. A person who gets caught unaware and decides to fake heart attack will still have some reaction to the battle before he makes that decision. If Mario stopped entering commands before the battle happened, it's obvious that he's telling the truth.

Especially in an online tournament where it's totally unconfirmable. look into the replay and see that he his apm drops to 0? didnt you guys look at the buildingscreen? he didnt do anything. he just got 5k mins and 3k gas and didnt click on any units. no way that was intended

Because it's likely that whatever analysis the commentators make will not affect the official MLG decision? i.e. there is a possibility for them to call the game contrary to the decision made by admins/players which would create even more controversy for this event. ~_~
