MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket. |

yeah #1 and #4 much more difficult than #2 or #3

Sucks for the admins, no matter what, this will be a "Controversy" decision and some people will think they've choose the wrong decision no matter what.

It definitely is nobody's fault, but it is Mario's responsibility. edit: but yeah, sucks to be an admin right now, there literally is no right decision.

while they are at it, can they also have a ruling against dubstep?
|
Would someone explain what's happening here? What is the score? etc?

Such an unfortunate situation, this was a really fun series too...
These matches are just making me wish more and more that this was truly a regional event. The matches with American vs American players have been really entertaining.

I wonder if he had ants on his keyboard...

Why did PhysicsLee get a DQ against Hwangsin?

His hardware, his hardship. If Nony doesn't win this I will be upset. I remember this happening in GSL with DRG and Virus where Virus' keyboard just had some issue and he just had to suck it up.

It's pretty easy to check in the replay that he stopped giving commands completely. A person who gets caught unaware and decides to fake heart attack will still have some reaction to the battle before he makes that decision. If Mario stopped entering commands before the battle happened, it's obvious that he's telling the truth.
Yeah this is true. That's what you should check for if your a admin.

lol, the amount of pathetic is astounding. Actually, "pathetic" means emotional, and your decision to label anyone "pathetic" is actually one of the more "pathetic" things one can do. be slower bro, if you weren't so quick to the gun! Haha, well I just couldn't help myself I take no issue with your revision.

Especially in an online tournament where it's totally unconfirmable. look into the replay and see that he his apm drops to 0? didnt you guys look at the buildingscreen? he didnt do anything. he just got 5k mins and 3k gas and didnt click on any units. no way that was intended
Or, he realized he trapped his army in the top left, and intentionally stopped making actions to make it look realistic that his keyboard failed.

Korean tournaments are run differently, see Kespa. ;p

Yes, it's wrong to even ask the players about it. They should have no saying at all, the admin takes decision and stands or fall with it.
Why? If admins decide, they have to decide against Mario. Otherwise anyone could claim hardware problems in an offline tournament/qualifier. So if Nony wants to be nice and regame, that's his decision, doing Mario a favor and believing him. A judge/admin can't just choose to believe someone without evidence and screw someone else over by doing so.

I've already been sharpening my pitchfork all weekend. I'm ready as soon as this decision is announced.
