Anyway, Life just pushes zerg race to the max and it pays off. His skill is obv insane but even with that skill he would lose maybe to Skytoss if he didn't harass with Hydras whenever he could. He just never stays still and waits for the opponent to come to him. GG and great GSTL day. Being aggressive is good, playing just one style limits you and makes you very predictable and yes that's what makes Life so good. Yeh, he's good at these different styles but alot off his agression doesn't seem that allinish to me. A good example is his 10 Pool against Flash wich did absolutely nothing, but he still transitioned into a nice macro style. Today the roach agression against Byun backed with a third going up. Also in his game against Creator where he was attacking the whole time, it still didn't stop him to get base after base. It's a very tight line to walk, and probably the hardest part about playing Zerg. Because under/overcommiting in economy/agression can lose you any basic game. I agree Life is not allin player. He will rather harass and kill workers or destroy some tech than go all in (except if opponent is on the knees because of mistakes - game 3). In game one he killed 70 workers. Or more, but count was 66 last time they showed. Yeah, against Creator he didnt sit and waited for SkyDeathBall. He pushed with Hydras all the time trying to snipe even 1 void ray and deny fourth so gas becomes a problem over time. As for Macro/Aggressive plays, yeah that is true. Very thin line. But since it is impossible for us to see SC2 as Life (or any other ST or PRIME member) see it, we maybe must play more Macro oriented and be aggressive when we can. Depends on skill but even many GM play "safe". Anyway, can't wait for 16th GSL. We will see if anyone found a "cure" for Life ![]()

They'd say "NR20 man!" And I'd say "I'm not attacking" then they're like "I can't place my buildings" and I'm like "build outside your base then :p"

I know what you mean. DRG and leenock have caused me to be hesitant towards hopping on bandwagons because they both slumped rather abruptly after their dominant phases. I want to believe life is something more. We'll have to wait and see.

Byun and Maru look good so far, but MKP and Creator need to find their shape in HotS imo.

I agree, and think it works better in a format like Proleague, where there are multiple rounds and one or two of them are all-kill format, but the rest are bo1.

Startale's roster is one of the deepest in GSTL.
