SOS played beautifully that game... but
Has anyone told MarineKing that there are new Terran units in HoTS? Hellbats would have changed the complexion of his army vs the zealot ball.
Also, why was he 1A'ing his entire army back and forth to deal first with a single zealot, then a single DT?

Every toss should open drop dt vs T. If you don't mess it up poorly, adn even if you kill 0 SCV, it can't be cost-ineffective. Then terran can't mule or set an offensive rally-point (fear of drop or run-by dt/zel), so you win easy on today's maps.
That's nearly auto-win if you play it right lol... No it isnt, as shown in game 1.

Polt makes for very good games, that's true. Polt is going to be at Dreamhack right?

i actually thought MKP played pretty decently to get back into the game after the DTs, until sOs set up that contain

If you catch Terran out without a scan or turrets ready, you essentially gain a sizable advantage. If Terran is well prepared already, the DT drop should not do anything and Protoss will be behind.
MKP was just pretty unprepared for DT drops...

Yeah his play was very disappointing tbh i agree...he didn't show a high level of understanding regarding the new units in the expansion. he basically played it like wol with medivac boost (which got shut down pretty hard thanks to feedback). we'll see what he brings in the losers match, but i don't think he'll be making it out of the group.

That warp prism hallucinate was pretty pimp, and the constant third harrass seeing as MKP simply refused to ever build a bunker.

MKP's decision making was really off that game. He tried to drop a 2-base Protoss and didn't take a third for a long time after falling behind against the Templar. I think he should have tried to take a greedy third and drop sOs as soon as he starts his third instead of doing quite a lot of rather useless drops

I'm expecting sOs to easily 2-0 soO and then Marineking should beat all the zergs... But I am usually wrong.

Can you tell me how a terran can be prepared so that he is ahead vs a dt build? the terran can no move out on the map because of the dts; so the best thing to do is save two scans and drop?
