Well, they were mis-microed so many times this game. Rallied into the army twice, caught by storms and forcefields several times, left in the middle of nowhere while muta were being microed, etc. No amount of HP will really solve those issues.

it feels like blizzards usual approach to overtune a new unit then step back wasnt applied to the swarm host (well they nerfed it 3 times in the early beta just like the hydra in the wol beta lol)

DRG had to creep up his 5th base and secure it with spines way earlier, when Flying had no defence and not that big of an army. He realised that he had to do this way too late and that basically lost him the game there, despite him wasting like 5-8 swarmhosts to bad rally over the course of the whole game.

Mutas in zvt were pretty bad in WoL.
And other races got even more anti muta units/buffs

phoenix alone hard counter mutas, add storm in and it's almost not worth making them. not sure why you're crying about it.


you have no idea what you're talking about. mutas outheal a full storm in like a minute. phoenix are good but if you build too much you can't kill the zerg ground.

even in WoL mass muta style was the most frustrating playstyle to play against as toss and the winrate wasn't that much worse than gglord-infestor.
