Not once have I seen in HoTS (outside of Parting vs Yoda?) in IEM tosses actually leaving units back to defend. the speed of the drops create moments where you are defending your third and the medivacs can see your units there then speed into your main blink is so slow to get, and blink stalkers also pretty much suck in the matchup at anything other than drop defense i think the answer to this is pheonix / zealots (instead of stalkers) instead of nerfing terran id say protoss could stand some slight buffing when it comes to buildtimes i believe pheonix are the perfectly designed unit protoss already has to deal with medivacs. the cost/strength of phoenix, 150/100/2food gives you a pretty powerful unit to deal with drops and small marauding bio forces imagine instead of every 2 stalkers (250/100) you had 1zealot and 1pheonix (250/100). think about it the pheonix are so much faster and superior and can actually get those darn medivacs imagine if a protoss had 15 pheonix's spread out on the map to intercept drops and a strong ground army of collossi/storm/etc and when you see the terran moving in you can tell if its most of his army the pheonix are so fast they can respond and join the fight within 13 seconds while you retreat and drop down defensive storms for those 13 seconds. pheonix IMO in that situation is much better than stalkers. Imagine you can have 30 stalkers OR 15 pheonix 15 zealot in your forces. Obviously the pheonix is more desire-able they can kill medivacs and even in that amount kill the drops themselves too the problem is protoss as a race is just "so slow" right now... the COST of pheonix is good but its just the mechanics of protoss race where they are so forced into massing gateway units all game just to have a surviving chance..... it seems protoss ALREADY has the proper units to deal with this stuff with proper cost and balance and strength, its just the design of the race mechanics that makes it so difficult and i believe imo thats where the fixes should be addressed | ||

That's why he was rated so low. When he starts playing more games his rating will be more accurate | ||
