The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained. |

Only time will tell. Goswser was around beating good korean terrans long before the patch He was upsetting korean terrans a teeny weeny bit before the patch, he was consistently winning against very skilled terran players after the patch by either allining or going 4-6 queen into infestor brood. I think the only really good terran he beat before the patch (in a tourney) was Polt in an MLG open bracket if I'm not mistaken. True, my point was that he was around before the patch and his results didn't suddenly spike up post-patch. So on the continuum of patch-zergs he isn't terribly patchy.

He also beat Puma by requesting a walk-over in game 1 because Puma was late then baneling busting him twice and winning once.

Taeja is no Mvp when it comes to defending DT's on cloud kingdom.

Tosses I've seen are scouting them when they're just outside their base and they'd take exactly the same amount of damage with or without speedboost.
I think people are using the speedboost (outside of cloud kingdom as it's silly) as an excuse for having bad drop defense. Not once have I seen in HoTS (outside of Parting vs Yoda?) in IEM tosses actually leaving units back to defend. I honestly don't think you understand how the matchup plays from the toss perspective. Drops are resulting in almost free damage ontop of the more subtle power of keeping that third and consequently tech tosses need to fight somewhat evenly with a terran ball. This toss army has to throw economy at terran drops because terran drops are just so so so much more efficient than raw gateway units. Speedvacs are effecting everything. WHY DTS
i don't like the speed boost concept at all. it will imbalance the game i think. though ultimate they probably can be dealt with by good counters. right now. this is not why Sase is loosing(losing). He isn't playing up to the competition..

I know the skill disparity between the players hasn't been the greatest representation in the statistics we have thus far from the first 2 hots tournies but dayum son. Who has Ret beaten in HoTs though? Its a small sample and he has lost against all the good koreans so I don't even think Ret is doing any better than other foreigners to be honest, other than by chance. He beat MC, First, and Sting at IEM. Pretty good record there.

The first time in I don't know how long DT's have actually damaged a Terran.

That was so lucky. If Taeja had saved a scan he shuts the dts down and Sase is way behind.

Looked like 720p to me when I watched them earlier, wasn't bad quality at all.
