The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained.

They're playing worse than the terran overall, get over it.

What I think might be the case is that because terran is able to play the same as they used to, but with new medivacs, Korean terrans can just crush through all opposition. I think that if the balance was different, with more focus on new units and all-in strategies, we'd see Koreans not doing so well, since they played less HotS. I think you underestimate KeSPA and their eSports infrastructure. They are very fast at finding out the new strats, timings, and doing targeted practice to learn them. Their coaches aren't just managers; they go out and study the game for their players.

When Terrans are slightly strong or even abit OP, Terran players themselves are very ncie at openly say it. I think we still need to wait to nerf in HOTS, but whether it's true or not, many players are open about what they think it's a tad too strong. While in the last period (6-7 months) of WoL when Z was CLEARLY broken, during interviews no Zerg player would admit the imbalance, I remember reading stuff from Symbol, HyuN, Sniper, etc. all saying that players needed to adapt and it wasn't broken lol. Just sayin'...

I think people overrate the 'advantage' foreigners had. Honestly, if you had two weeks of casual play on the beta servers you were as up to date on the game as everyone else, plus another 4-5 days of fulltime play after release. Koreans being ahead already makes sense because they simply have the better infrastructure and practice.

Just sayin'... Stephano repeatedly said about how Infestors are overpowered and he wouldn't mind them nerfed. Since he had other matchups bar ZvZ mostly figured out, easier Z means more likelihood of him encountering a Z in the tournament. ![]()
