Usual rules apply: No balance whining, caster/player bashing etc. Let's have fun! |

Any foreigner is going to look like a noob when playing against Innovation. HuK is no where near top Koreans but comparing him to high Master/low GM EU is just silly

They may have or may in the future renegotiate his contract if his lackluster performance keeps up, but I doubt they'll just release him, and I doubt he'll refuse to renegotiate because where is he going to go? A good Korean player like PuMa can go anywhere, but where is a foreigner going to go? Foreign teams are so unstable.
What about Thorzain and Jaedong? T_T

well it seems like his whole build is just designed to defend the widow mine drop. Doesnt matter that he has got only gateway units then and splash damage is too late to defend even 2 base for a late mmm timing.

It's really disgusting to see a pro player known for his micro abilitie lose several blink stalkers to a unstimmed marineheavy bio composition. There is no excuse for that and it's what turned the game into the direction it took in the end.

Oh no, HuK is losing to Innovation. EG better release him.
His results are still better than 95% of foreigners, even when he was in a slump.

In case some of you guys didn't notice, Huk had a massive supply block at around 72 ish supply for a good 30 seconds, right when he had to do some damage to come out even with Bogus. Of course it didn't help losing 5 or so stalkers for no reason other than bad control. I really hope nobody uses this series to call Terran OP, because the surface hasn't been scratched at all yet. Aside from a few mines and a time warp, this has been WoL.
|
Why do they have downtime, they return after this? what is "this" there are no commercials or anything. It's like they given day[9] and DjWheat a script that they have to repeat after each game.
|
Where's the top 3 control? If you open blink stalkers and delay other tech, at least contain the opponent and dont lose random stalkers everywhere. Almost the entire game would've been the same in WoL except the mine drop.

He has been using mainly WoL tactics though, right?

Random yapping for 10 minutes ... then players are "ready" and they take a commercial break instead... wow thats brilliant. IEM really stepped up their game last time, but MLG dosen't seem to be able to improve on pace with their competition :-/

Well more like the game itself and especially the players evolved with time. Huk was a great player for some time way back, but has been stagnating since then.

you guys should hear you talk ... few weeks ago he did win up and down and went to code S !!! sure he lost there but DAMN 2 bad games not mean hes not eu GM level ^^ he is korean GM level man !
but huks rly seems off today
ps: to all say "huk talked shit" wtf you talking ? he said "he stand no chance" like being confident before the game, then innovation said "its not gonna happen i lose" its pretty much just the players boost confidence say something nice, if not you guys say "oh he is so shy and talks himself down" etc you have always something to whine and flame so annoying xD
GOGO HUK GOGO INNOVATION!
PS: perhaps he play such strange builds because innovation is perhaps top2 top3 terrans worldwide and you not have a chance play normal defensive macro game vs him ... think about that

The fact they even said he had a chance was generous imo. Innovation is one of the top Terrans in Korea right now he's one of the favorites to win this whole thing imo. Watching this series I was more impressed by T play at IEM. I wouldn't call innovation a favorite at this point.

lol, yeah cause Huk is clearly representing the top level foreign play here.

Sasquatch vs Huk for a chance to be crushed 3-0 by a korean isn't exciting for the viewers and isn't fair to the players (when foreigners have an easier time qualifier while the koreans all play GSL champions).
So we're just giving up on the foreigner scene then? We get to see enough of the koreans in other leagues.
