Also having the bio hugging the roach/hydra ball doesn't change much, if it was against banelings yes it would be usefull, but here the bio just runs up and melts Vibe's army. Edit: Broodlords is a weird choice in this situation as well, Illusion is very mobile, ultras would be more usefull.

I feel like vs upgraded, medivac'ed bio balls you always need some decent AoE (i.e. banelings, fungal). There's not really a point in using blinding cloud in this situation imo. Illusion is not relying on tanks so the bio only looses 1 or 2 seconds of dps. 5-10 banelings in Vibe's composition when he saw Illusion was so bio heavy would have made a huge difference. Bio would have to retreat, rather than attack, allowing Vibe to take the better position. I also had no idea blinding could was so powerful.

Roach/Hydra is probably the coolest possible combination for zerg, especially if it's mostly hydras. Anything that makes that composition work is beautiful for the game IMO. Ling/Bling/Muta is far too coinflippy and dependant on if the banelings land, where as roach/hydra viper is all about the clouds, the stutter step from both sides (if bio) and the pure control, not just baneling splitting from a (basically a-moving zerg). My god I love HoTS.
