In the first major Heart of the Swarm tournament, at least a small amount of consistent strategical analysis or at least, keeping up to date on what the player is doing - so that a blind person would have SOME KIND OF IDEA what was going on - know there was a robo bay before 2-3 colossi were done for example - is important

Not whining about balance, just saying that with Roach and Hydra speed you'll still take a ton of Storm damage, plus that movement time is essentially free damage for a Toss army. In general roach/hydra is garbage vs toss now that tosses remember how to fight it. Zergs will remember that soon I hope, swarmhost or muta is best way to play ^_^.

Roach drops aren't even a WoL timing I think. The last time I remember them was back when Jult was playing and even then he was using banelings too.

I think it's just because Roaches and Hydras are bigger units than bio, so splitting isn't as effective. Everything you said applies to bio as well, but terran splits.

That shouldn't matter. Moving out of the storm (especiallly with stuff like corrupters) is still better than sitting in it. Do people forget how fragile Bio is in storm? If Terran players never bothered as it gives the enemy "free damage" Terran would never beat Toss. Splitting is even better for zerg as collosus will hit less as the units are bigger and same goes for hydras. If I see a zerg complaining about void rays being imbalanced when they clump all their corrupters and hydras on top of each other and refuse to move from storm, I think I might get upset :/

Difference being ghosts are projectile where as abduct isn't. Ghosts have EMP can potentially take out 5 templar at a time, abduct on the other hand grabs 1 unit and that's if toss doesn't feedback. Also ghosts have cloak. I really wish people understood the viper and why they aren't a counter to templar before posting something so stupid.
