Hope to see Grubby and TLO do well, although it's going to be tough. Stephano, MVP and Golden will probably run the top three through.

Results up to this point <Balance Report> SPOILERS T+ Show Spoiler + ERRAN W9-L11 GW24-GL26 Koreans(2) 7-3 17-8 Player AVG 6W 6.5L ZERG W14-L21 GW35-GL48 Player AVG 5W 6.85L Violet W5-0L 10GW-3GL PROTOSS W22-L13 GW50-GL34 Korean(4) W15 L5 Player AVG 7.14W 4.85L Trends: Foreigners have a losing record in all races. The best statistical player in YongHwa. Violet is a close second as Zerg. Without Violet Zerg would have a 9-21 record. Zerg went from 5.66 games won per player to 5 after yesterday. Zerg are only 4-10 vs. Protoss. Zerg are 4-4 vs. Terran Terran are 4-6 vs. Protoss Korean Protoss dominance shines through however PvZ may be considerably in trouble. ZvT is balanced. TvP is a bit off-kilter but may be Korean feeding off 2 foreigner more than game balance.

So kind of a patchzerg made her Code B level but if not for patch she would be in the hunt anyway. They say very little so far due to the number, but it's always useful to have them to think about.

I'm not gonna say anything, but this is somehow an appropriate start for HotS... At least morally. I didn't watch any of the Xlord games so I can't comment - but Snute & Vortix played beyond bad in almost all their games yesterday. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, being shaken by the new metagame, lack of recent practice or what, but they really looked like normal ladder players rather than progamers. However, confusing play is sort of to be expected with so many new things to learn in HOTS. Also while I admit I feel that some of their results in WoL were boosted by the strength of the race, I don't think its fair to say "this totally proves that they are patchzergs!" just because they are struggling in HOTS right now, not everyone is going to adjust as quickly to the new metagame. Especially for players like Vortix/Slivko who almost always went infestor/broodlord in WoL, I feel like they will have longer adjustment periods. If later on the balance of the game is considered relatively good, and yet they struggle mightily, only then can we say that perhaps they did make their living off of an imbalanced composition.

No doubt the first part is true, but his tone was very defensive. Nothing wrong with congregating with fellow high level players who speak your language to discuss strategy, but the way the question was framed and even translated, sounded almost accusatory of foul play, which is why he answered like he was being put on the stand.
