I didn't look at it this way, but that's actually really true. Mines and +1 range on the phoenix as well as recall hinder the muta harass capability. But the regen ability allows to be a bit more bold with that harass, dart in to a bit of damage, take some, get out and regen. Rinse and repeat.

game was over when Ret, after scouting a low-economy cheese decided to counter-all-in and did no damage

hmm not sure how i feel about that game. don't know if it was good play from yoda, poor play from ret, or straight up imbalance. it was ugly and that defense/ contain seemed way too easy with only one mine and two reapers. Guess we'll see how it plays out in the coming days/ weeks.

I'd be interested to see how widow mines work without being able to hit air. That said, I hope Blizzard doesn't patch the game for a few months at least, as I want to see how TvZ develops.

Why? Marines and thors dominate mutalisks already. All three aspects of mutalingbling get demolished by mines. Would make the old school TvZ's even better.

I actually really like the suggestion to make widow mines do friendly-fire damage. They're already exciting, but they would be even more with that change.

Kinda like spider mines in BW, BOOM good bye 6-tank clump :I

you can't bait widow mine shots really vs a player who knows about something blizzard doesn't consider a bug.
