According to Catz on stream the other day, Goswser beat Leenock offracing as Terran in HotS.

Mt heart really says MVP, remembering how dominate he used to be. But it is going to be a massive uphill battle if he wants to take out curious. But if anyone can do it MVP can. Should still be some pretty good games either way.

Well, he's still helped by general mech buffs like free siege mode or combined armor upgrades. But he didn't use that alternate thor mode, or hellbats to dump his minerals, or a few mines to defend against the mutas.

Curious had every chance to win that but he was on 66 drones (which for zerg even in HoTS is low), he had a single useless swarmhost at his fifth base and did a massively failed attack against mvps somewhat defended third base which was a really bad place to attack in to.

I don't even think that was a lack of cargo space nerf. He just didn't bother scouting if you look back at that game. All he scouted was a cc and one gas. He didn't go further into the base.

I agree with this, though if they want one more nerf to hellbats just to be sure.. I've been saying it since before the cargo nerf... Just get rid of the damn bio tag, stop the medivacs from being able to heal the hellbats.. the whole idea of that is just fucking stupid..

to be honest, curious played BAD i mean that mvp make reapers from techlab having much less of them then possible, having later helbats, also that it was still the version where he could drop 4 and screw it so often ...
i have to say that curious as top8 gsl player is playing 100% wol and so, had no chance.
mvp played solid but not great

I don't think I've seen anyone do mass tanks since LiquidSea did it a few months ago (and never before that). Strange how effective it is.

Agreed. Curious dealt with the Hellbat drops perfectly in Game One. He killed four hellbats from a full drop with 5 Roaches and 2 Queens, even sniping the Medievac. MVP lost more in Hellbats/Medievac then Curious did in Drones in Game 1. So that proves Curious CAN do it, he just didn't.
It doesn't seem like it really be that hard for Zergs to make 4 roaches while droning instead of extra speedlings. I don't think it will take Zergs that long to figure out Hellbats.

lol that was not the same timing at all... game 1 it was a 9 minutes drop (and yes zerg can have roaches and a decent economy at 9) but game 2 was a 7 min drop... And a 4 hellbats drop so early is clearly op. That is what everybody is saying...

Yeah that doesn't excuse not having a Roach Warren at 9 in Game 3 though either and losing to a 100% pure WoL build.
Did he just think MVP wouldn't make any units and let him do a three base muta build without attacking?
